Starting with a song fragment, “Mother Mary Comes to Me,” Mike’s digital sketches revealed to him the shape, form, and color of his own trauma. As he continues to create, the images become a meditation on the experience of trauma itself. Together, the resulting collection offers a deeper understanding of how trauma can shape a person’s life and reminds us that such experiences are shared in our collective human experience.
